An epic saga full of intense moments of sadness, family complexities, cultural differences, bullying and suicidal ideation. Though a beautiful story it was quite challenging emotionally. I did enjoy this story was read by the author which capture the voices and an intention (and languages) really well.

It was a cute story and a fun premise. I like a couple other books in the series a bit better.
