So far all of the main characters have pretty much the same voice and God I hope he's done introducing characters cause at this point they're way too many to remember or care about. Everytime the plot seems to be going forward we're pushed back over and over. Everyone seems to love this book by the end but so far it's a 1 ⭐ for me

So far it's very slow, so many characters are introduced every chapter and it's just very confusing to me, especially because we also have a lot of POVs. It's hard to understand which characters should I care about. Not to talk about all the weird magical things that happened that so far, they just seem to random and out of place, involving again too many characters all at once. I'm 1/4 in, I need the book to start!

I abandoned 2 fantasy books before this one. Please be good!

Chapter 5 is for the history books. Just AMAZING writing and character development. I didn't enjoy chapter 4 as much so I'm thankful it didn't go downhill.

A bit convenient so far but I like the prose.
