Have read the Introduction which discusses the influence of medieval women and women who studied medieval history on atheism suffragettes. Reading Chapter 1, Movers and Shakers, covers very early British history and is helped by recent and current study of Storyland by Amy Jeff’s.

I decided to try again but think my lack of knowledge of Turkish history and stories hinders my understanding of the book as it continually refers to ancient stories the miniaturists are illustrating.

This book is on hold until I can understand a bit more about the colt urial setting.

Gave up before end as it was too convoluted.

I gave up just short of the end. I was listening to the audiobook and finally lost the plot when the character was escaping from the care home. Maybe I will go back and listen to the last bits someday.
