one of the reasons I adore this series is that yes it’s an epic fantasy but it tackles SO many topics within that lens- hard pregnancies, pollution, the problems with archaeology and globalism, class struggle, race struggle, interspecies conflict, tax and imperialism, post war what do we do, lost history, etc!!!

this series is sooo good, the first book of each trilogy of the overall universe is like a history book, setting up so much to come! and I’m loving how both of the previous series are coming together in this epic finale holy crap it’s so good! I seriously love and recommend this series!! it’s been a treat on audiobook, the narrators are amazing, and they’re soooo long, so worth it!!!!!!

just lost all respect for a character I was hoping would change- everything is falling apart but I see where this book is setting up the next trilogy about the dragons

these books!! too good!! too addictive!! they’re 30+ hour audio books and I am devouring them!! must read or listens!!
