I'm half way through & finding this quite dull as there's very little story, even though the audiobook is over 16 hours long & there are two different sets of characters in two different eras joined by the house some of them live in. I love novels that weave stories together from 2 different eras - but this is not one of them. So far the actual storylines are very simple but I am not drawn to any of the characters.

Enjoying this so far but I have to point out that Lidls don't deliver so there would be no Lidl vans heading to the retirement village! I felt that was slightly lazy on the research front.
