Just finished Ch 4, after Ella receives news about Maisie and my heart shattered when she received even more difficult news. *crying in a corner

I kind of like the dynamic in here and the weird (?) trope of brother's ex-best friend because brother committed fraud and is now in jail... lol.

I wasn't a fan of Shatter Me, but it's a series and figured I'd at least give book 2 a chance.

This is starting out interesting, we will see how this goes.

My first book from this author. I am only 12% in, ch 4 Evan. I am a bit annoyed by every little detail he is narrating about what he is doing. *I walk into my house, there is a metal gate blocking the dogs, I walk through my home, go to my backdoor, let the dogs out, go to kitchen.* Like ok, I know you are in your home... move it along.

Halfway through and I love this book. Number 1 for me in this series.

Another ARC! I have read all the other books in the series and Conrad has always been my number 1, I’m so excited for his story. I’m only a little in and I already love the characters especially Annie 😉.

Just started and I’m hooked.

I’m almost halfway through I think like around 400 pages? I honestly liked the idea of the book, vamps being judges of their race and all that to get rid of the evil. But then it starts to get kind of boring with all the scenes. I mean I do like me some smut but to have basically every single ch and its like come on…. I need this to speed up and them to do their judgy vamp thing.

Ch 31 not a fan.

I go into books blindly so this was a pretty good start into vampyrs (as it’s written). It does have some spicy scenes oh and was it mentioned… 7 men. But man I’m at ch 19 and there’s talks of a spider and I am horribly afraid of them. Trying my best to push past this part and hope there’s no more references.

Ok I think this was overhyped. There’s a lot of people who are gonna say they loved this. I don’t think it’s as funny as lights out. It’s kind of boring to be honest. And at 71% I think there should’ve been more bike stuff given that a lot of promo was surrounding him riding a bike. I don’t hate it, I just want more.

It’s ok so far. I’m almost halfway thru and still prefer lights out. I think this isn’t as funny. AirPods died, so the rest will have to wait

Bella is a bit annoying

This book is a little cringe. Awkward when he keeps calling her sexy and the things he says. Not horrible, it’s alright.

The TWIST in this book.

Listening to the audiobook which is around 19 hrs long. Making progress slowly. Yes this is a pretty good book so far.

She finally figures out who Lockhart really is.... ok can we get more out of this book now besides sex scenes. (I get it people love their smut, but others do love a story)

Not much character build or story. I’m almost halfway through and it’s just sex, grunts, groans. Hopefully the last half builds up the plot

I’m almost 3 hrs into the audiobook and I feel so let down. The spade and Cole books were so good, but this one is kind of cringe in the beginning. I also feel like I’ve read or listened to the beginning of this book in another book. It’s just not giving much. I want to DNF but I really want to give it a chance since I’ve read the other books.

I’ve had this on my TBR for a while. I’m halfway thru wanting to continue just to finish and wanting to DNF because what am I reading. When does it get better?
