Wow. The Goodreads cover they chose for this book is quite possibly one of the worst I’ve ever seen.

I never thought I would be this fascinated by the history of butter in the south. 🧈

I love this line about the protagonist awakening to the beauty of the classics for the first time.

What a beautiful story! Written like a dream. First time reading this classic. 🌕☀️

Second read for me, first read aloud with the girls. They love it already!

Why did I wait so long to read this? What a great summer read to boost my enthusiasm for the next school year! 😍
