Short story number three, Kissmiss in New York by Penelope Ward and Vi Keeland, was...well...eh...just ok. I think it’s just hard to write a decent short story romance, but Wesmie is my prize and I’m sure it’ll be AMAZING since they’re already an established couple! Can’t wait!

The second short story, Baby It’s Cold Outside by Melanie Harlow and Corinne Michaels, is pretty cute. Harlow is having a bad day, Michael stops to help her with her Christmas tree, one thing leads to another and *snap* HEA! It even had a fun little coincidence as the plot.

Short story numero uno, Just the Tip by Helena Hunting and LJ Shen, is not for me. Nope, I can’t even finish it. I think it’s supposed to be funny but I just keep cringing and rolling my eyes. Next!

I’m tempted to put this book down and never open it again before it completely guts me. Nate and Wren finally found each other again but I read the reviews and know what’s yet to come...ugh.

Holy shit! I could not resist the allure of this book cover. I’ve wanted it for so long and it’s finally in my greedy little hands.

This book series does a couple of things to me. First, it makes me want to jump my husband several times a day. Second, it makes me question who is right and what I’d do in this situation (from all 3 perspectives...Beau, Lola, and Johnny).

Book Con: Abrupt scene changes. They were just mud-riding....*record scratch*....now they’re dressed to the nines going to a concert. No idea how much time’s passed.😬

You’re an undercover FBI agent who kills someone in self-defense. Instead of calling it in, you handle it yourself by cutting out the bloody motel room carpet, roll the body in it, carry it out to the car, pay the desk clerk off and say your girl was a tiger in bed and trashed the room. She was such a tiger she cut the motel room carpet out and took it with her? I can’t take the rest of this book seriously.

I had to put my beloved dog down on Friday. She was my best friend and I miss her terribly. 😢

Cute story, but the humor is a bit over the top for me. Yikes!

I’ve been reading this for free in Penny Reid’s newsletters and purchased the book because it finally came out and I couldn’t wait to see how it ended! I’ve never read a romance like it...it’s different and amazing! I love Victor and Emily!

I was really looking forward to Heath’s story after reading Shameless King. It’s so sad and depressing with his childhood and high school background and now other things happening! Gah! I’m only half way through. Please tell me it gets better.
