I'm frustrated at how the author is handling some things. The potential marriage, for example. Or the possibility that Alina is related (DISTANTLY) to the Darkling (first cousins separated by at least eight generations).

Having a hard time getting through this one. I like the story and I'm interested in the mystery, so I don't know why it's taking me so long to finish.
