A nice little reread.

I read half of this book in one sitting. I am so confused, so surprised, and I have no idea where the plot is going. We will see if Malachi lets me finish it today but wow. Color me impressed so far.

I really didn’t like Good Spirits by Borison back in December, but I finally got into a local book club and they’re reading this for February so here I am again. Hope this one is better!

I was promised Miss Congeniality and this is basically The Bachelor fan fiction. And yet I read on.

Part of me wants to plow through these books because they are so udderly (pardon my pun) delightful. But I am trying to pace myself because I’m already foreseeing the devastation I will feel when I’ve finished Herriot’s books.

Reading this for a book club and we’ll see how it goes! Pretty interesting so far!

I’ve heard good things about Borison and I’m a sucker for anything seasonal, so here I am.

Interested, but cautiously reading this.

This was my BOTM choice and I am DEEPLY regretting it. Incredibly unsympathetic protagonist and a truly annoying writing style.

If I rated based on the main character doing things I hate this book just lost 4 stars

My BOTM pick for July. So far the FMC is coming across really preachy and I’m not loving it. Hoping there is some major character growth or at least some really funny scenes.

This book is addictive.

Uh oh. This book is going to absolutely destroy me isn’t it.

I love Susan Meissner, but this one has been a slog. Really having a hard time finishing. I wish I could DNF books after the 20% mark but I just can’t.

I just finished reading Elmer Gantry, so yeah.

Chapter 2, already crying.

The story is ok so far but these names are driving me insane.

Very underwhelming so far. Feels like a random mixture of various elements with no strong plot or character growth to keep me going.

Got this ARC, first one in a few years so I’m excited!

I’m reading this as part of a reading challenge, don’t have very high hopes though.

This book + audiobook is addicting. I’m having a difficult time believing that this is a novel and not a documentary.
