Dear lord. It's interesting reading about the history and dynamics of women's friendships throughout the ages, but so far much of it falls into "blame the men." I shouldn't be shocked considering it's tagged "feminism," but jeez.

The areas where women are mentioned as giving out "oppressive" advice on female friendships in the past seems far more of a class issue to me rather than a sexist one.

Am I reading a romance novel or a tale about a heroin addict?

I'm sensing a predictable plot device incoming (which is fine, MM romance can be so predictable at times), but this one has me irritated because there's not much romance to be found. Could be this year's first dnf.

Idk how I feel about this book. Not what I expected, and I knew exactly what happened when it happened in the beginning. There's not much physics for a book called "Dark Matter." I'm trying to give it a chance to get better, but I'm at 50% and this is a sci-fi thriller with barely any sci-fi so far.

Did an AI with the proofreading skills of a first-grader transcribe this book to Kindle?

Whoever is responsible for transcribing this into an e-book is an idiot. I have found the term, "e-book" in here, "guy," and this is an actual sentence: "I concept I had no means visible to him so hideously charming." And that's one example. It reads like it was shoved in Google Translate.

Also when you click on GR to buy from Amazon it is not the same copy as described here. My advice: find it at a library.

I have really loved some Con Riley books and the author's writing, but I'm starting to remember why I put a pause on finishing the Learning to Love series after I started Austin's book. I can't tell if I'm reading a book about a school, a self help book, or a romance novel. I feel like Rowan's spent more time with Charles than Liam so far. I'm also beginning to loathe these damn kids.

I've been savoring and conserving these short stories for ages like a sweet tooth plucking confections from a box one at a time, but now, I'm almost done.
