Confusing....crass characters...would have stopped by now except for Book Club

Engrossing / sometimes enchanting. Takeaway ... Will racism ever end?

Had I really realized the book was written to be cathartic to the writer I would Never had started it - very sad about what happened to the author but not what I expected - wish the Author all the best & hope her other books are not about her prior life
