Really good!

Really like this book. Love the strong female characters, especially Carrie. When the book talks about the fighting in the Cold Harbor VA area, I can really picture it in my mind. I grew up right there. Many references to locations within Richmond and surrounding areas that I know well.

Good story line, but it drags on too much for me. Did not finish it.

Great book so far. It does jump from one character to another, per chapter, and that can be a little annoying.

A very good book. I read the first in the series too. Great stories. Letting go and letting God take control is hard for the main character, Harmony, who comes to the town looking for shelter from a hurtful past. A little dog named Muffin helps her find her way.

Very good Christian fictional book about foregiveness, acceptance, family disfunction, and love. Charles Martin is a great storyteller. It is not the average boring book that covers these topics. This book has many twists and turns, scary moments, sad and happy moments.

A very good book. I read the first one too. Yhe settings and characters make you feel as though you are actually there among it all. This story, to me, is about forgiveness, acceptance, loving one another the way God instructs us to. The book is a quick read because you don't want to put it down.

This is a sweet book. It's the characters that make it sweet. The main characters are young adults who have to grow up fast. It's a story of sacrifice, repentance, faithfulness and love. I can't wait to read the next one.
