I've been at this book for about 3 hours...Im disturbed by dead babies and excesive Macbeth-ish blood imagery....Also my mind = blown. Holy bestsellers Batman.

YES, Clare. Thank you for putting it into words. This, my friends, is why I have no patience when it comes to all-things digital. Ain't nobody got time for photoshop.

This made me laugh out loud, in a waiting room, at a clinic, outside my doctor's office. Thanks.

So my mom told me the other day that when I was 2-years-old I asked her to read me a book for the first time. When she did I insisted that she explained the words to me, not the pictures. Funny how I ended up hating books up until 8th grade. 2-year-old Me would be proud.



Random update over.

Im about 4 paragraphs into "The Great Gatsby". The writing. It's so...ugh. It sounds like poetry in prose...like Tolkien but modern and not too descriptive...flowy and smart like Doyle and....aaaagh. It sounds beautiful when you read it out loud.



End of my brief literary orgasm.

Note: the book actually has 251 not 201 pages, mind you goodreads.
