On ch19. Think this is going to go in the DNF pile. This books is all over the place and going nowhere at once. The h is too annoying for me to enjoy reading much more. This makes me sad because this book started off so good. But once the chick got to Ravenswood......its been all downhill from there. Giving it 1 maybe 2 more chapters before I completely throw in the towel.

I desperately want to like this book bc I've loved all her other ones but my god am I bored to death. How old is the h supposed to be? She acts like a spoiled 16 year old that wants to act like she's a strong woman but again just comes across stupid, naive and childish. Bored. So bored.

Yep...I'm complaining again.This girl has blamed everything she has said & done on her alcohol intake.Then maybe it's time for some responsible decision making.Also, if you're packing in a hurry, grabbing the 1st thing you come to, pj's from when you were 16 shouldn't be on top of the pile.but I guess that had to be what she packed in order for this oh so "funny" part of the story to happen. (Eye roll)

Who the hell doesn't look at the caller ID on their phones? Omg this is stupid. I'm sure this is some attempt by the author to be funny or quirky or whatever but it's not because......its 2016 (2015 when this was written?) WHO DOESN'T LOOK (or at least glance at) THE CALLER ID?!?

Idk if I'll be making it to the end of this book.There's a difference between being openly blunt & crass in a trashy way.This h is definitely the later.I mean I don't have any expectations of this book being a classic but good god what has gotten into authors trying to make us believe dirty mouth whores are the new Elizabeth Bennett? There's a time, place & specific audience for this kind of behavior.

The h is already irritating.She pretends to be a smoker to get out of awkward social situations.Going as far as to buy a pack of cigs but oh no the moronic plan doesn't stop there.She actually lights them up & pretend smokes.What is she? A 15 year old trying to like totally look cool? Feeling awkward? excuse yourself. F*ck them if they want a reason.This is a bad sign if something so small is already pissing me off.

Omg this is the dumbest shit ever. I can't believe how hyped I was to read this book. So damn glad I wasn't stupid enough to pay full price for the error filled crap of a story. I've been bored out of my mind for most of this book & only pushing through bc of all the great ratings. I'm an idiot.

A stubborn heroine doesn't equal a strong heroine.when will authors get this? A strong woman (or person in general) knows when to accept help.oh hey you're being stalked by a guy that possibly wants to kill you but hey you wanna prove you're a strong independent woman and not have your WILLING friends watch your back. Then you go girl<--sarcasm.

just me nit picking but for the love of all that is holy can we stop with the "he needs a haircut" comments from the heroine in books! I mean really.If a guy, out loud or to himself, talked about not liking a girls hair bc she has a "boys haircut" or it's too long, all feminist hell would break loose.if the character's hair is long, let it be.Commit to the damn character description & leave it the f*ck alone

While not an expert at song writing, if this were a real song it would kinda suck. Yeah the words are sweet but it reads more like a letter and less like a song. I mean...shouldn't there be rhyming? At some point?

I can already tell that 80% of this book is going to be paragraph after paragraph of repetitious inner monologue. 8% of the 11% that I've read could have been cut out.

I'm not understanding why everyone is on the Cage York bandwagon. Maybe I'll find out in his book. But the way he treats Low is deplorable. He constantly reminds her SHE'S not good enough. No matter where she's from, what kind of friend says stuff like that to someone?

An 18 year old junior???? What? Did she fail a grade or 2? I was 18 when I graduated. Not going into my senior year of high school. I know it's not a big deal but I'm constantly going to be thinking about that the whole time I read this book. Lol.

I really want to finish this book bc I like the idea behind this story but ugh there's way too much repetitive reminiscing. Only at 36% and I swear 20% of this book, up to this point, should've been edited out bc it's the same shit over and over. And a flashback within a flashback? That was...odd.

Sooooo....a little girl from the perv cult of pedophilia shows up & no one thinks anything of it? Ky's suspicious for like 2 seconds but bc his "one flew over the coo coo's nest" wife wants her to stay he caves. Uh..how does she know the name of the MC? How did she find them? A person finds her on the street & instead of taking her to the cops, is cool w/ taking her to the MC? Hello red flags...red flags everywhere.

Oh man that was brutal. (Not in a good way) I wanted to read Flame's book but now I'm worried.....am I about to start a different version of the same book again? Ugh.

I think Tillie's beta readers need to reel her in a bit with the American cliches she keeps doping her characters up with. I don't remember the 1st book in this series being as horrible as this 1.I stopped reading her sweet home series bc of the horrible hilarious cliches. I sure hope I don't have to 86 this series too.

Not a good sign when I'm already skimming at 18%. Feel like I'm reading a more religiously whacked out version of the 1st book. *sigh*

Man they sure do go to their lockers a lot. During all 4 years of high school I never used my locker once. These characters have gone to their lockers after every single class. Either it's a REALLY small high school (which mine was small too) or they're doing some serious power walking to and fro. Lol.

The choppy sentences making a choppy story...I'm so confused. I have no clue what happened just now & I swear I didn't skim (this part) what the f*ck is the random tension about?

Is it seriously necessary to know what every piece of furniture looks like? & when talking about her own belongings not only are we told what everything looks like (right down to the chips & flowers) but we're told its origin and price. Ugh.I really want to finish this book but it's not looking good considering I started reading it 2 days ago and I'm only 35% in.

1st Kristen Ashely book & possibly my last.i hope all the men in her books don't sound like 13 year old cavemen.and it's not even sexy alpha male caveman its I can't be bothered to speak proper English caveman.she makes him sound stupid & it's killing the story for me.well that &(the weird sentence within a sentence) thing. Bc (writing a new sentence inside parentheses) it isn't weird or anything.
