I hate uncalled third-act breakups. I understand that it will lead Avani to accept her feelings for Issa, but I find it unnecessary for Issa to go on “dates” while still bearing Avani’s mark on her neck and after having requested to mark her (which Avani declined).
Issa’s journey with the royal family and being a babysitter while Avani is on her angsty era is so unnecessary and boring.

This book is so boring that I’ve reread Mercy and An Heir for Silas, yet I haven’t been able to finish it. Send help! 🫩🫠

I was promised brutality but so far it’s been boring. It doesn’t help that the MCs are also dull.

Just ended chapter 26. So i’ll be stopping now and waiting for more updates to come (i hate having to constantly wait for new updates so i just let them accrue).
