Mother's day is just a week away and I'd wanted to read something related. so here I am, browsing through pages of this beautiful & lovely stories of mothers & their daughters and warmth they share.

This book is of myriad essays compiled in no particular order. From folklores and Bollywood, bandits have captured our imaginations in many ways. Annie Zaidi reflects over their lives and how it has impacted our history by closely studying their lives through her encounters and and analyses. In the next Zaidi quickly shifts focus onto tea, that encapsulates the idea of love to her. so far so good.

I'm literally living with cancer stricken Hazel Grace with not an ounce of sympathy in me for her. She doesn't need any of our sympathy. And just like her in on love with Augustus Waters. His zest, zeal and candor have me arrested to the book.

I can't put the book down. The tone of this book is casual yet Dickensian. The plot is also quote interesting.
