Great read so far. For many I think they see the opposing side of the political spectrum as the root cause of Big Brother. Though having read a bit about Orwell I would be surprised if he only meant one extreme side. To me Big Brother is the result of moving to far right or to far left of the political spectrum.

Not bad Jeff Flake admits a lot of self truths but sone his points lack context. He laments that the GOP has a problem attracting minority voters and yet doesn’t offer any policy changes to fix this.

I applaud anyone who look at themselves critically in the mirror. He does this and admits a lot of truths about his party. Sadly his voice and others like it have less powerful in Republican circles nowadays.
