This book is fabulous! 3 women from three times: 1890s, 1920s, and 1940s all with some mysterious connection to a room in a Gilded Age NY mansion, a Ruby pendant, and families that are somehow connected. I love the setting and the characters, the little bits of romance, and the mystery that I can’t figure out. 5 stars so far for sure

I can’t finish this. I want a book to grab me emotionally somehow. With this one, I felt nothing. The characters are boring. I wasn’t attached to them. I dreaded reading it so I decided to abandon it and not finish.
