I love it already.

I am starting to get tired of missing out on what is happening over the span of a year when reading this book since it only plays on the same day, July 15th. I also think the plot is getting tiring and repetitive, which is unmotivating to read. Can't give up though :)

This book is a nice romance read; however, the fact that it plays over 20 years is confusing since the reader misses a lot of details that might be important over the span of a year.

So far the book is rather sad because of the choice and event that led to the plot of the story; however, it is well written and a comforting book. I also enjoy that the authour is English so the writing is like 'colour, favourite, or realised'.

This book is relatable in some ways and it’s nice but sad at the same time to read a book that you can see yourself in. Some situations are sad to read because I know it’s not a healthy mindset or way to cope. Overall good book.

The pages are short which I really enjoy because it has such deep meanings in the writing. I have already found two "quotes" from the book that I really find true meaning with and I am excited to keep reading and find a way inward of myself, which is the goal of this book.

I was so shocked at the plot twist (after). I really think that the plot twist is sad and going to change the whole story, and even make things disappointing. I do enjoy throughout the book how last words are being repeated a lot and how everything is tied together.

I think this book will be okay, but I do think it is weird that the author is a middle-aged man describing the body of a 16-year-old girl, even though it is the perspective of a boy. I'm interested in what will happen to Alaska because I have heard that there will be a plot twist. Hopefully, the book will be fun to read!

Relatively hard vocabulary so it isn't as easy to understand the poems. It is a fun read to grab from time to time and I hope that I can find a good poem to keep in memory. This poet is originally french but it was translated to english.

I think the book is calming but it's kind of boring and slow-paced. I should read it more, but it's not my favourite because of the style of writing. I'm nervous about what will happen.

I've made quite a few annotations so far and I really enjoy doing that because I can dig deeper into the book. I really enjoy this book even if it is taking some time I feel like I can just sink into it and really enjoy the way it was written and the character's feelings.

I love the way that the book is written, with the short chapters that are connected with the title (specific topic). I think that this book is also such a fast yet slow read. I don't know how to explain it but it definitely feels like you get a lot of information but it's written in short amounts per chapter. Melinda. I feel sorry for her. Really sorry.

A bit more than 100pg. left to go! I think that right now the plot is kind of boring and I hope that it will get more exciting and fast pase. I enjoy how now many people are noticing that the Darkling isn't as good as he pretends to be, and that Alina is building up an army at the Little Palace to fight him.

I've been advancing pretty slowly with this book because it isn't as interesting as the first book and I also enjoy it more when I am watching the show simultaneously. The main character Alina is a hated and misjudged character but also seen as a saint that will save Ravka. All I can say is that I hope she does but I also wonder how she will kill a special someone and save Ravka at the same time.

Once again there was a fight. A dumb mistake. Lexie thought it was fun. She got too caught up in the moment. Even though no one actually did anything the others don't know that. The gang is no more. A carefree, untroubled, taut friend group is now in one of its trickiest situations. Hopefully, something will bring them back. It might be Mr. Terupt. A bad accident again? Or something even worse...

Middle School is hard. A lot will happen. Good or bad you still manage to get through it somehow. For these kids it's different. They're teacher almost died. How will they survive without him as they're teacher. I know this book isn't the most realistic because of the way the other students bully the "main characters" but if you walk in their shoes it will suck. Luke has no friends and no Mr.Terupt. What will he do?

Reading this book reminds me of my sister and I. How we used to be so close. It changed once we moved and so did it when Katie and her family did. This book isn't like others. It's not a book about war or riots, but instead a personal story of a girl who doesn't know what she's facing. Lynn used to tell her what other will do. Now she's the one being manipulated. Manipulating is like an infectious disease.It spreads.
