I loved this series but was really disappointed in the ending. It seems the author just got tired of writing and wrapped up this complex magic with a simple ending.

Skip this one!

I love Isabelle Allende, but this is not her very best. The first several chapters are confusing and it takes a bit to catch on to the characters and their journeys. Once that happens, it’s hard to put down.

Love this book...such a fabulous read!!

This is a hard book with which to connect. The author gets you there in about the middle, but it’s a lot of work!

This was a tough 163 pages but well worth the work.
