Nia is my favorite from Dance Moms. I wanted to like this book so so much. I think this book did do a good job telling me everything she has accomplished that I just didn’t know beyond Dance Moms, but it is just so juvenile in its writing. I am listening to the audiobook and she just sounds so stodgy, so blocky. It didn’t feel like she was telling HER story. It sounded like she was simply reading a book to me.

Unless im missing something, at this point they have spent just a handful of hours together and I’m just not getting chemistry here…. they barely know each other. The banter is fine but she’s talking about love when she said her self she doesn’t know what love is… Also the moon stuff? Painting the moon, moon shaped birthmark, painting his eyes like the moon. Also say “lovely” one more time, so overused
