Entweder, man steht zu dem Spice in seinen Büchern, oder man lässt es und macht ne Überblende. Jedes Ausschreiben dient auch der Charakterisierung der Figuren

If there is one thing I absolutely despise in books it’s trials ala hunger games. It’s the only book I tolerate with this trope (maybe serpent and the wings of night too) but even there it gets on my nerves. If a book is composed around this kind of lazy plot device I will not read it. It was done too many times in the 2010s and it doesn’t get better if its fantasy not dystopia but ok I will listen

I don’t know if I like Oak as a main character… he is not that interesting to me and the book gets instantly better when Jude and Cardan are in the scene. I want to read more about them but instead it is this stupid miscommunicated teen romance which gets on my nerves.

I finally continued reading this book because I heard that there will be a third one with the title “The Justice of One” and I am hyped. Also, I am finally ready to be put out of my reading slump by a good book. I can’t really say why I stopped… I guess, I spoilered myself by skimming through the end… That is a thing I do sometimes and it ruins the fun so maybe I should stop doing it.

This one‘s dragging on and on… Salukh and Tiffany are not the most interesting people. Sorry, I said what I said.
