This is probably the first time when just the premise of a book put me into a slight stupor and made me question my life choices.

When you realise how hard this book hit home 😔

This book in a nutshell: miscommunication of the highest degree 🥲
I love it, but kinda want to kick Frankenstein at the same time for his irresponsible and selfish actions

The rat scene… I knew it is a horror book , but this moment really got me by surprise 😬
But , so far , I’m loving this book and kinda glad that it was able to surprise me 😱😄

It’s sad to see that MC's whole personality could be described with one word - Ryan 🙄🙄🙄

It seems that author's kink on “huge, big, etc.” men is her only way of creating male characters :/
I’m serious - it’s in her every single work. And it’s kinda getting weird at this point to constantly hear about this HUGE height difference between every couple. We got it , please , stop at least repeating it at every single page.

Apparently my hate for Jo goes to the retelling too.

I don’t have much words to say, but… So far it feels like I’m reading about myself . Some books are relatable, but this graphic novel is even more than that for me.

One of the dumbest books I’ve ever read 😐
I’m shocked that this mindless, empty and pretensions stupidity got such high praise.

Jeez… Our mcs are two idiots whose problems would have been solved in 50 pages.
But no - it’s a full ride of sheer stupidity masked with “intelligent” words.

“Three women were padding about, pink leeches glued to their shoulder blades. The youngest was my age, her breasts already sagging. I looked at mine. Firm, like two upturned ladles. Feeling reassured, I went to join my mother in the sulphur bath”.

Their attitude toward sister/Thomas/therapist is awful and makes it hard to root for them.

“The TV goes to a commercial for air freshener. A woman is spraying air freshener so her family will be happy. Then to a commercial for very thin panty liners so a woman can wear a dress and dance and meet the man she will later spray air freshener for”.

I can quote this book endlessly 🥲

I’m grateful that I’ve encountered this book at this point of my life after I escaped from making the worst decision of my life.
