I’m kinda having to slog through this. It’s not what I expected. I was looking for another crazy girl / normal somewhat damaged guy book from this author but Mars might be crazier than she is.

If he doesn’t get destroyed by her, regret, and guilt when his plot comes out I’m gonna be piiiiiiiiiissed.

I’m okay with Audrey dating other people while they’re “friends”. It’s unacceptable that Carter does it. I’m comfortable with my double standard.

I’m 40% in and I literally hate Zach and his smug, lying, manipulative self. I’m this close to chucking the kindle across the room.

Ember is stressing me out. What she’s doing is illegal. She even told her boss it was and she wouldn’t do it. Just because your motivations are different doesn’t make it not illegal girl! I already see she’s going to break poor Orion’s heart.

Well now I’m pissed at Becca. How dare she freeze Nate out. My poor guys heart is broken.

I know that these two were in NO WAY together I’m still pissed that he drunkenly slept with Alex. ALEX! I hate her. He had feelings for Becca for years! Get your shit together Nate!

Ugh we’re going start right out with the hero being a man-whore and hanging out at a sex club. I’m not a fan of sex club books. Might DNF but I’ll try to give it a shot.

Still no student/teacher stuff. That was the trope I was in the mood for. Probably should have picked a different book.

Getting really tired of student teacher books that start with the teachers spotting the student in a strip club and skeeving on them.

Just bought this to read and realized I had already read it a few years ago on KU. Oh well, I rated five stars so we’ll see how it goes this time around.

I paid way too much for a friggin kindle copy of this. It better be worth it.

I’m sooo disappointed in him

20% in and he got so close to sleeping with someone I don’t hold out much hope for the rest of the book. I’m surprised by how bad this makes me feel, like he’s not just some made up character I’m disappointed with.

I swear to god, if he sleeps with more women in this one so he can pretend they’re her I’m going to lose it.

DNF - Maybe I'll finish this someday, but not anytime soon. It just never gripped me.
