I got to THAT part - and I initially thought I was going to hate this book, but they turned out to be my faves - and now I can’t look at them the same. Like my entire rating for this book is gone now bc this felt DISGUSTING. It’s not even about what he said, it’s what he did in a manner so disgusting that it felt unnatural and assaultive. I fucking hated that scene and don’t think this book can recover

the first three chapters (+ prologue!!!) that we already got online were 5 stars for me
tfota is my dearest book series, I am SO excited and a little less scared of having to let go, because holly black said that once we’ll finish this book we will know what she’ll do next
my guess is pregnancy but maybe she’ll find another way (also bc it’s been mentioned a lot in the books soo)

I haven’t been able to read at all, it’s almost a miracle that I even got to page 84, but that was a week ago. My entire week has been chaos and everything has been getting in the way of me reading. I hope that the curse breaks now, because I love this book SO. MUCH.

listen, I know that it’s been so long and I’m still only 91 pages in BUT uni makes it almost impossible and I hate that I’m struggling to read rn. I truly hope that this will go away. I’m super determined to finish this book today, I really really like it so that isn’t the problem.

ehm?? I love it? I mean I’m only 30 pages in but I love every character so far and the story AND the way the story is being told
I was immediately in the book and lately that wasn’t always a given so I’m super excited to keep reading tomorrow

I was in a bit of a reading slump (?) / uni stress so I almost didn’t read for a month and that suuucks but I hope that I am back now

I’m pretty sure this is about to be the last story and I’m simply not ready so I’m gonna go and make myself some food although it’s almost 6am
I so badly don’t want this to be the last thing that Holly Black has written and published about them. Please please please.

2. I can’t contain myself whenever I get Jude and Cardan content.

I don’t want to end the book, I live in Elfhame now. I’m gonna miss them so much, my heart hurts.

CHAPTER 21 I-

MY FEELINGS

I can’t describe how relieved and excited I am to finally feel this feeling while reading again. It returned to me immediately once I opened the book. I’m so happy to be back in another world and just feel that feeling

I actually finally got this semi attachment to Poppy in the last pages / the pages after this summer ended and finally felt more of a connection

I’m finally about to finish this book and Idk how to explain my relationship to it but I couldn’t get myself to finish it the whole time? Even though I was interested in knowing what was going to happen next.
The past ~20 pages I feel I liked more Idk

It’s the 10th day since I started reading this book and I’m still on page 100. I’m just so bored? Idk
I really want to finish this book today so I can finally allow myself to read other books and I hope that I’m gonna love the rest but I fear not

So I was really scared towards the end of a very sad ending and I’m glad it ended well (given the circumstances)
So I didn’t cry AND THEN I READ THE AUTHOR’S NOTE
well, am currently reading it and boy am I tearing up

I am sobbing and I didn’t think that I would cry
