So far this book is really dumb. So what if the Father Vampire/Demon had not had 7 sons --- how then could they each represent the 7 deadly sins? And in 78% of this book nothing has happened. I don't foresee this book ending well.

A quarter of the way through and NOTHING has happened. There is nothing enticing a reader to stay.

This book is a mad-mess-of-chaos and doesn't know what it wants to be when it grows up! At this point I am reading it for the hot guys abs.

Okay. So I have never read VA, not true I got like three chapters in and DNF, SO I can't compare this to VA --> therefore is it wrong for me to really like this book?

It's kind of ow, but in a really nice way. It reminds me of dating someone. Those fleeting glances and stolen embraces. The first kiss and the many to follow. The chance to discover another person and realize they are your other half!

Okay. So I am re-reading this. I hated it the first time but maybe I had a brain tumor and just didn't get it?? SO I am going to go it again!!!!!

So this sequel is good, really good, but it is lacking something that the first had. I believe it is that tension between Treq and Cricket we felt in the first. You know what made X Files so awesome -- the fact Scully and Fox never got together but that never made us doubt how much they loved each other.

This book is surprisingly very good! I just needed something to listen to and BAM a good book. :) it's going to be a good day. Good, Good, Good.
