I have such a love/hate with Backman. The short paragraphs (some a single sentence) are not my favorite as I don’t think they lend themselves to true deep character development BUT somehow by the end of these books, I love the characters and don’t want the story to end. I’ll take a break but I will read #3 in early 2023!
