Started listening to audiobook. Got lost. Now reading the epub. And wow, the amount of British slang in this book so so astronomical, there is one every 2-3 sentences that I am thoroughly lost. Maybe I’ll go back to the audiobook because then those details just fly right over my head without realizing

The book got my attention at the beginning, but the more I read, the more it’s kind of written badly. Like, you don’t need to explain everything on the page like the whole “rebel” double meaning. That was obvious as day 🙄

Randomly followed someone on Goodreads and they gave this one 5 stars. So now I'm starting it. So far, I am really liking the prose.

Ok, I know the music is AI (and don’t even know what else is AI in this book), but honestly, it’s a fun experience so far. And the lyrics are great.

Ok, this book is fucking depressing as fuck. It has all the combination of things I hate reading about because it’s so depressing and sad.

Do people like these types of books???
God, I’m waiting for a dark romance where the MMC rapes the FMC and the FMC doesn’t orgasm. Like, that would be the ultimate ego blow to the MMC. But then the rape scene would probably be too “real” and take the *magic* out of it 🙄🙄🙄

Listening to audiobook. But man, the MMC’s voice is not nice to listen to. He sounds strained/heartbroken the entire time and isn’t very articulate and the words seem to mumble together. It’s fatiguing to listen to.
