This has got to be one of the darkest things I have ever read, and I've read a lot of dark things. But it is exquisitely crafted, and has forced me to make an exception to my rule of avoiding books with mainly disgusting major characters. I may even finish the series.

My first time reading Virginia Woolf in a while and this book is giving me chills, in a good way.
