A slog, but worth it. Finished it on holiday last week. Will I read the sequels? I'm unsure. My reading list is sooo long at the moment and I found this tough to get through. Wonderful story & characters, though, and I'm glad of the experience.

The usual buildup of characterisation so far from King. Interesting stuff, and - again, as usual - great sense of place.

I've tried reading fantasy in the past, things like LOTR and Mistborne, but could never, ever get into them. For some reason, this one appealed to me, not least the sample I read and the recommendation from someone whose tastes usually run similarly to my own. So, yeah, I'm trying something different. And you know what? 47 pages in, it's got me gripped and I can't wait for the next chance I have to pick it back up.

A stone-cold classic that passed me by. It's been long enough since I watched the original movie (Hellraiser, if you weren't aware) that I can't remember much of the story. So far, it's suitably Barker-esque - strong visual writing with deeply flawed characters who are about to experience hell. Enjoying so far.

As aways, Riddle builds a compelling world with competing character points of view. Great read so far...

I'm very slow because I'm reading a lot of non-fiction at the moment, but this is a great read so far...

The Goodreads Giveaway for Best Buddies ends today. The e-book is going to be 0.99 until 7th Nov before going to full price, so will be doing some serious promos. Looking forward to seeing how people react to it.

Just completing the last minute checks on Best Buddies before uploading the final version ahead of release. The 28th is coming around fast!

Great read so far, feels like it's building to something...

Two stories down, two to go... the first story I really enjoyed, but the second I found just a bit strange; intriguing at first, but it kind of lost me later on. Next is the titular story, If it Bleeds.

After a couple of days procrastinating and fiddling around, I'm now on Instagram (authorjordanbach) and Twitter (@jordanbachbooks) which is apparently something I have to do as an author or I will burn.

Currently working through my back catalogue of books I've enjoyed and posting the reviews up here. Hoping to build up a neat library for anyone finding my page.
