I'm having a bit of difficulty getting into this one. The arc isn't formated yet, so some parts are a bit confusing with her writing style

I accidentally spoiled the ending for myself by looking at the second book and reading the first sentence in the blurb about it. Almost DNFed it, but the writing is so beautiful and emotional. So, i just kept reading. Now I'm emotionally invested. I want to know how it ends for real.
