Ooo the way I adore TJ Klune 🥰🥲 this book is already tattooed on my heart and I'm only 1/3 of the way through! Between this wonderful mind and the absolutely incomparable, beautiful mind of Alice Oseman, my heart and brain have experienced sooo much healing and expanding 🥲

5 chapters in and already a couple instances of casual transphobia 😒 and this is not great so far 😮‍💨 I might have found a TJ Klune book that I don't like 😪
This shit is just weird tbh. We'll see what happens 🤷🏻‍♀️

The level of annoyed I am at the overuse of the words proper, and jolly in this book is off the charts. We get it, they’re British… clearly the author is not 😂

"And a lock on a door in a house rattled"… I would love to know how many mf times this lame ass line is written in this book!!! It has ruined SO MANY good moments. Seriously stfu. The last 50 or so pages have been a nice respite from the absolutely incessant back and forth bullshit of the main characters but this book is just bad 🙄 the story is good and fun but the writing and delivery is shit.

FINALLY this is getting a little interesting. Still no where near as good as the first book since it’s basically a repeat of it in a lot of ways 🙃 I also DESPISE how the villain is getting some sappy bullshit reasoning for being a pos… I couldn’t possibly care less 🙄 and the amount of back and forth is getting nauseating 😮‍💨

The plot is more thin than any paper it could possibly be printed on 😮‍💨
