Picked up right where book 1 left off. So far, so good.

Just started so not sure yet if I'm going to love it. I really hope I love it!

It's strange reading something by JR Ward that's not The Brothers. Enjoying the mix of UF and murder mystery; it's a different style of story telling but told in a familiar voice. And I'm loving me a bit of Jim. He's the perfect bad boy: dangerous, secretive, but with a conscience and a soul. Can't put it down but I don't want it to end :-(

Off to a slow start but I like how it's gradually building. And I'm falling in love with Dog!

Don't know why it's taking me so long to read this book because when I'm reading it I'm quite enjoying it. Will try to finish it tonight.

Don't know why, because it's probably the best out of the three, but I'm stalling with this one. Maybe it's more my frame of mind than the book.

Pleasantly surprised. It's written rather beautifully.

Stalling a bit. Getting very predictable

Captivating enough. The writing isn't perfect but it has a certain readable quality that I'm enjoying.

I don't know why, but this feels like hard work. Maybe it's just me.

Not sure how I feel about this one yet. The excitement I felt when I read Divergent seems to be lacking in this one so far. I'm not enjoying how both Tris and Tobias both have other interests, seems a little contrived. But I'm still open and hopeful that it may still grab me by the throat at some point. We'll see...

Love Gin, as always. She can do no wrong in my eyes. I have noticed how formulaic this one feels, though, but it's a formula that works. I like how the Ms Estep is making Owen the focal point of this story.

I need me some Gin!

Omg! This book is not fun to read. Nothing's happening except America is getting more insufferable, more indecisive and more ignorant with each passing day.

For some reason, this one's not grabbing me quite as much as book 1 but I'm still enjoying it.
