I've only read one of T. Kingfisher's stories, but this is definitely giving me the same whimsical vibe

Just staying chapter 9. It's a nice easy read so far, nothing that requires a while lot of thinking to enjoy haha

Tempted to DNF but think I'll try to make it until page 100 to decide. There's little-to-no explaining the world building to the reader?? Just throwing words at us and we're expected to know their world's rules and laws and jargon. Very frustrating read so far
