Almost done. An absolute beast of a book.

Reading this at work and absolutely loving it so far!!

What is Rabbits? Don’t play Rabbits. That’s the book so far and while it might seem harsh this book is interesting but should have been over by now.

Some of the names are a bit frustrating but otherwise I am really enjoying this.

50 in and I am 50/50 whether to continue. I feel like I know almost nothing about the main character yet despite him narrating his own story.

Rally enjoying this. I didn’t realize it would take place in such a relatively compressed time but it makes the story very easy to keep up with

I dont remember a huge amount about the events of the first book but that prologue really makes Tau seem like a piece of shit who would probably kill his own children if he suspected them of being involved in his fathers death.

Picked this up because of a wuxia chat I had recently and this was recommended. Seems pretty decent although I enjoy the training montage and it was completely skipped as the protagonist went from a nobody to a highly skilled warrior and magic user between chapters.

I am really hoping this final book is more con and less magic like the first book.

I had to put this down because it was scaring the shit out of Ms almost 5. "It was spooky when the people were bleeding". You damn right little girl.

I got stuck here for a bit. I reached the How do we fix it part of the book and it was very hard to read when we had a President who said windmills cause cancer because I knew we would never do it. I'm thinking that maybe now there is a chance we will and now at little hope is involved I'm looking forward to it.

Tough to put down because I want so much for it to get better.

Some really great stories so far.
