omg so good!!! i love how chronically online this book feels (in a good way - vampires getting dating advice from discord sounds very reasonable to me)

this book is basically twisted lies 2.0 minus the creepy stalking (kind of?) and i’m… cautiously here for it?? like THIS is the ana huang base - nothing groundbreaking but it’s entertaining enough. we are so back?

this is starting off kind of lowkey promising and it makes me wonder how much of a disappointment the second half will be
but once this is over the next book comes out in april so we can have some reprieve from mediocre writing + chasing the high of what could have been

so close to dnfing this🥲 sloane deserved a better book bruh

this is such an unexpectedly wholesome book like??? elsie silver is doing the exact opposite of whatever tf ana huang is doing because this series keeps getting better and better. the fact that the found family trope can exist in the same book as the “i can fuck her better than you” trope and have it WORK is… art. we’re in the home stretch of this one but gotta say LOVED IT so far👏👏

ahh. i don’t know why i keep going. it’s not good y’all. it’s really not good. like i am BORED. even the smut doesnt do anything when there’s no plot besides Money Solves Everything. and i mean money does solve everything but when every character is rich(adjacent) and no issue is actually an issue because ultimately Money Solves Everything it just gets kind of repetitive and boring. :(
