I should have dropped this book early on but I'm almost done now and I'm not a quitter even if a book is idiotic apparently

This book is the exact kind of positivity in the face of depression that is so revolting to me. I can't stand this attitude

This book is annoying me. The message is basically, "Any life you could ever live is hard. You will be happy and sad no matter what so you should enjoy your life and be happy to be alive." Bullshit. This is just It's a Wonderful Life with a better premise. I'm so mad. I do not like this book.

Oh my G-d there's an homage to Hersh Goldberg-Polin and I am about to start sobbing. The dedication also pays tribute to the victims of October 7 z"l. Thank you Heidi my heart is so full seeing these small nods to everything that has happened
