I’m definitely struggling through this one, which honestly surprises me considering how many people absolutely love it. So far, there’s a lot of focus on the politics and the pyramid system, and I’m finding that part pretty dry. Add in what feels like a hundred names to remember, and I’m constantly trying to keep track of who’s who.

As of right now I’m just not vibing with this book so im going to let it set on the shelf for a bit and maybe come back.

I really hope something exciting happens soon. This book is way too long to be this slow paced.

At first I wasn’t so sure about this book. I hate world building and basically the first 10 or so chapters is nothing but world building. You read 2 chapters for it to all of sudden jump to a different person and read several chapters about them. Then it jumps to another person. It was very annoying but then when they all come to get, it has been amazing so far.

The story line is really good and has similar vibes to other books I’ve read that I’ve really enjoyed. There are just times I’m liked “Come on…Just get to the point!” Hoping that gets better once we get past the world building.

Can I just say, normally I think Book 3 is the worst in any serious and man has this author proved me wrong!! Wow
