Ugh. This book is terrible. I’m actually not even spite reading - I do want to know what happens but I highly suspect it won’t be worth it. I can’t explain why I even care. Maybe I need to know that Lizzie isn’t a waste of oxygen.

The more I read, the worse it gets. I keep thinking it will get better but the writing is horrible and the characters are lazy stereotypes.

I am loving this!! The enemies energy is strong right now but the undercurrents of attraction and trust are right there! Plus the side characters are great!

My god Pearla is insane…and I think I know the “twist” - it’s taking everything in me to not jump ahead!

Why is there absolutely zero natural flow to this book? The scene setting, dialogue - is all so stilted and abrupt. I keep reading it tho…

Ugh. ~ “Eating my pvssy like a man on death row and sh*t just got real.” What in the fresh hell is that? Thankfully this is free in audible. The writing is so freaking odd. There was also a bit earlier when the FMC scraped her knee “it stung like a b*tch in heat.” What does that even mean. She clearly doesn’t know how to use similes.

I’m STRUGGLING here. Where are the Xavi and Devon from the first 2 books?? The strong older brothers taking care of what needed to be done? These two are just clowns. The miscommunication, the absolute misogyny towards women (calling them bitches and treating them as disposable), the sloppy bi-awakening…THEY ARE 30!!! These are like completely different characters😩😩
