i have to listen to Celia’s pov in 1.2x speed and Max’s in 1.0 and it’s getting ちょっとめんどくさい. waiting for the plot to kick off!

i don’t like how the male narrator narrates the fmc but i DO like how he narrates nicky(?) so. win som lose some i guess

im getting almost too stressed out to finish this 😩

this narrator is AMAZING

i forgot i was in the middle of a steamy part when i put it on in my car and all i can say is thank god no one in the konbini parking log probably understands 1.5x speed english

gonna be honest the translation being in a British voice is throwing me off none of my students or coworkers say “rubbish” or “bin” if they’re translating ゴミ/ゴミ箱

it’s a shame every female character kinda sucks otherwise this would def become a series i could get really into

there’s one character that i’m like 90% sure is gonna kick a bucket and i think i’m only 30% stressed about it

the battle scene was good!

okay i was a little harsh i like the magic system a lot

my dad bought this for me as a gift bcs he loves it and i dont have the heart to tell him i think it’s utter garbage 😔

the prose is a bit jumpy and i havent quite been sucked in yet but the characters are interesting and the plot is a good pace so far!

i’ve heard there’s some delicious yearning in this book 👀
