oooh the new mystery is ramping up but so is the tension between the couple. . .

cute and silly so far. I love the idea of the margarita wall but no way would I want my sister to marry someone still hung up on a short few dates I'd been on with him. ew.

I'm surprised by people who say this book is comforting. so far, I'm finding it deeply sad. They barely had 9 months together while married before he passed. These stories aren't a reminiscing about all the years and their life together but instead feel like a mourning of all the years they didn't get.

Stationary Bike was so good - but like Gingerbread Girl - I know I've read it in another set of short stories (or by itself). It's so good though! Loved it, 5 stars!

frightening but so good. loved the twist in the end

this is note quite as edge-of-my-seat suspense I was hoping. definitely a little more filled with drama than constant suspense

first story and I liked it but didn't feel fully pulled in. the audio was odd, getting loud and then quiet - I think that distracted me from loving it

Stephen King reads the intro. ALWAYS my favorite, ugh, it's just so good!!

the word "vomit" has to have been in this story about 20 times so far. ugh

through 10 chapters. really good. I like the back and forth of past and now - so we know about the cult life.

omg the hunting dressing detail and description is getting so yucky. . .

I had to pause and look up Pikas. adorable! I hate he threw a rock at them! ☹️

I was honestly stressing over this cat situation. I'm so glad we got an update!

You can just sense - with the lack of sleep and the chaos at work - that she's spiraling. wish her wife would come back . . .

Chicken flavored and lemon scented - I'd never thought of the secret lives of driving test proctors. the ending was a surprise.

Through Part 1. I like that you can tell there is more going on here but I'm not sure the purpose of some of the side backstories yet. . .

I loved the stray magic - and the idea of all the artifacts and magic items laying around.

But that necklace is rough. I couldn’t have that around my neck.

this feels less haunted house and more like abuse through medical neglect

and the plot thickens. the chanting at the end of each book is so creepy! still so good!
