Shadowpaw predicted that bramblestar would get sick and he does - they try everything and now they may try a treatment that could kill him. Still can't reach starclan because the pool is frozen completely solid.

Shadowpaw has a voice talk to him that there are code breakers within the clans that need to be dealt with and is given a plan by the voice. Bramblestar acts oddly harsh towards his clanmates while now Bristlefrost gets rejected by Stemleaf.

Shadowpaw has an adventure at night to the frozen moon pool and is struck by lightning. Whether its real lightning or just the vision who knows. The voice told him to drive out an outsider to the clans and he feels uncomfortable when Bramblestar touches him. Bristlepaw has bad luck and doesn't catch anything for her hunting assessment. Rootpaw really admires Bristlepaw for saving him. That's pretty much what happened

Typical here's our new characters rootpaw, shadowpaw, and bristlepaw and here's their motivations and feelings. I do think it's interesting that they're all from different clans but we did spend the last series exploring that concept.

Really glad they're not dwelling on stuff that happened in the last book for too long and just moving on. I wasn't the biggest fan of the last book with Twigpaw's situation. I feel sorry for Violetshine and everything shes been through and she's just got so much trauma and abandonment issues now.

They're finally out of the city again. I'm not surprised they solved every guardian cat's problems before they left, but I am surprised they decided to have so many cats follow them home. I feel like in previous books they only let one or two. Not like.. 4.

Was enjoying the journey for the first time in a Warrior Cat book and about how these new cats live with their territory... And then Tigerheart decided to be like all the other travel cats before him and start wanting to change their way of life. It's so annoying.

I think it's going to be interesting reading how bad it got for Skyclan, even if we already know what's going to happen by the end of the story just due to Firestar's Quest.

I find it really interesting how each section has a dedicated section to a map of the clans as well as different allegiances for whatever time period it takes place in.

My first reaction is that I'm looking forward to reading more about Hollyleaf since she's one of my favorite characters!

So Cloudpaw was injured in battle and yellowfang took the time to heal him. Tellowfang was made into a full medicine cat and gave up raggedpelt, but now in starclan she's reminded again that she's going to have kits. In a way it's like this slow build of mounting horror.

So Raggedpelt was announced to be the next deputy because Stonetooth is retiring and Cedarstar is down to his last life. He's guarenteed to be the next leader of Shadowclan and we already know that he does it. Yellowfang agrees to secretly be his mate while being a medicine cat. She doesn't think that this is a bad idea at all because surely starclan would warn her?

So Yellowfang has finally decided to be a medicine cat after Sagewhisker convinced her to because the pain she was feeling from other cats was too strong for her to fight in a windclan squirmish. She doesn't want to be a medicine cat, but she's going to be one. I really have come to dislike the trope of being forced to be a medicine cat due to destiny. Why can't there be more cats who just choose to be one?

The more I'm reading about Yellowfang's relationship with Raggedpelt and the way it keeps progressing.. It's a very abusive relationship. He keeps gaslighting her about killing his father (saying that he attacked her first when that didn't happen) and the way he gives her the silent treatment when she doesn't do as he'd like.. it's very upsetting to see the signs and for her to ignore them.

So yellowfang has had the ability to feel other cat's injuries this entire time. She's trained to be a warrior and is romantically interested in Raggedpelt who has heritage with kittypets. Right now, he's kind of giving her the cold shoulder because he's afraid she'll tell his secret. Also he's afraid the new rogues russetpaw and boulder will tell.

Firestar and Sandstorm finally have a lead on Skyclan by talking to the kittypets: Cherry and Borris. They reveal that theres another cat called Moony who seems similar to a clan cat. I kind of really like this mystery element that's part of this book.

Firestar and Sandstorm have finally found the old home Skyclan had once settled in long ago. There are also signs of cats in some places.

Anyway, the reason why I found their argument to be a little annoying was because Firestar was thinking about whether or not it would be easier to have left her behind. The entire time they've journeyed before the storm, he's thinking about stuff he wants to talk to her about and the entire time I just wish he'd talk to her a little more. Communication is very important, especially on a journey like this.

So Firestar and Sandstorm begin their journey to find Skyclan. Along the way, they pass thunderpaths and twolegs. Eventually the two get seperated after a storm where Firestar refused to stay in an abandoned twoleg nest. Some rogues help Firestar find Sandstorm and the two reunite. The two had also argued about whether or not Firestar would have wanted Spottedleaf there instead. In this case, Sandstorm was right.

Firestar has finally gotten ready to leave on his journey to save Skyclan, but if I remember right this next part of the journey is boring and annoying when I read this as a teenager I think? We'll see if I agree now.

So far, there's an omen and just typical kits not being able to wait til they're apprenticed.

Until more books come out or until I read more, here's my personal current best to worst Warrior's Manga list. Overall, they're pretty good for extra side stories that have nothing to do with the main series plot lines. These are my personal opinions!!

4.) Ravenpaw's Path
5.) Tigerstar and Sasha
6.) Greystripe's Adventure.

I forgot how much I dislike Rainflower as a mother character. I really don't understand how she can be so mean to her kit and call him names and stuff like that.
