Monsters is a forward masterpiece that truly balances but refrains from directly answering the duality of man as destined evil, man as societal product, and human as decidedly capable of evil altogether. Our ability to love, scold, refrain from, and pursue so incomprehensibly intertwined. The author breathes a neutrality and depth of thought into the inherent societal, emotional, and sentimental of art consumption.
