Picked this up because a booktuber said this was his favorite book of all time… so far it’s been nothing but slop of a dead man’s life but I have a feeling this book will hit me towards the end

So messy

James Islington - not someone I have read before but Ive only heard either really good things or really bad things about the author - regardless, excited to enter this world

Obsessed - islands with faes who have different magical abilities and ofcourse the Inquisition is trying to capitalize, enslave and finding ways to use that magic for themselves

I am positively surprised by this ship and the Dead Poets Society type of tension

This stupid ass format on Netgalley it wouldnt even allow me to change font size or theme and my eyes will suffer trying to read on light mode. First few pages seems great but im not going to ruin my reading streak by getting involved with this nonsense atm. I’ll revisit this later this year.

My god how i adore RFK and Babel’s masterpiece of a love letter to revolution. It is a direct assault against passive liberalism. Liberation has no need nor space for our sympathy, ignorance, peace or survival; it is simply action, violence, and active rebellion that brings change. A very subtle nod to action over advocacy🤷🏽‍♂️😗
