Love the story and the ambiance. Three things. Ok 1), we should be farther by now, the pacing is set for a longer book, I'm 60% through... At least I hope there's a sequel. 2) there is no world in existence where I would have not yet opened the box already. Not one. 3) Why go into town for answers?? Why the whole "make her curious for answers" .... That's why she's there!!?? She's curious my guy!!

Every reason they give her to not go with Rhys are the exact reasons why she should. I'm so curious, it's taking too long to get there

This is the strangest, sweetest and most horrifying horror/romance story I have ever read and I honestly LOVE it. It's like if The Thing was from the ocean and had a cute little romance on the side of the bloodshed and body parts. It's incredible.🖤

This book has kept me on my toes since I started reading it lol. I go between groaning at the cheese and then laughing in disbelief at just how wild this story is getting. I love Jack and his "Whatever" attitude is incredible.

I really don't like these characters. The story is interesting but JUST barely enough for me to keep reading. The narrator of the audiobook is awful. Why is he shouting every single line??? It is so jarring and takes you out of the immersion so quickly because who freaking shout/whine talks EVERY LINE??
