Dorran and Clare are solid survivors and so sweet together. I'm excited to see more of this apocalyptic world. Go get Beth!

Ok these two I just can't. I love them. I love how Darcy Coates writes her characters. The women are always tough as nails and soft and caring at the same time. When shit hits the fan and their man in in danger, there is nothing stopping them. They fight before flight in the middle of chaos and the men will stop at nothing to protect these gems. That's me and my husband and idk I just love it.

Fast resolution, Dorran is on board now, fight over, same page and this is becoming a favorite. I love these two and the apocalypse is so freaking new and intriguing.

I am so glad that we are getting clarification on what is happening in the world but I need Dorran back and I need him and Clare to make up and him to find out what's going on too.

I wasn't sure how I felt about the characters at the start but I can now say with confidence that I hope that Evelyn and Daniel survive this Lovecraftian mountain tower together. I love their growing friendship! But girl needs to go easy on the bird, it's not THAT bad. (famous last words)

Sophie, get the demons out of your man Joseph. They are so sweet together and I want them to have a solid monster-less shot at it

I love that Sophie will not take no for an answer when it comes to protecting her husband from doing something stupid that will kill him. Her excitement at the fact they are stranded because that means he can't make her leave and she can watch over him is so cute

Finally a good one!! I am sucked in. It is fast paced and I love the characters and Cove is a good MC. I am a marine ecologist and having Hestie be a marine biologist on the dive is awesome and so far very believable and fun to read. I am on my toes and the suspense is kicking up!

I like the story and I am flying through it fast but .... I can do a little less with the quick summary recaps of these people just for them to not matter to the story any further past that page.

I need to rethink things ... Everyone's character flaws come around in the end to make good plot sense ... The ending is going great

I will say I thought the twist with Miriam was different than what I predicted, a few more of those would be great

I am a 0% fan of Miriam, I DID like Adam until recently, possessed by demon aura or not, 0%. I am all behind Walker and Kim though, more of that pleasssse. He is the MC, give him page time! He's the only one with his head on straight smh

Miriam is rubbing me the wrong way. She treats her fiancé like his worries and wants are less than hers and now she's hiding a secret that, if my prediction is right, will send Adam into a panic and it makes this whole trip a terrible idea. She just climbed a mountain, pushed too hard, got Adam hurt, and her problem/secret that makes her moody and throw up. Bad judgment. I hope we learn something along the way.
