I finished!!

I only have 30 pages left!!

The reading life is like one of those potent graces bestowed by fairy godmothers on princesses in old fairy tales, the sort to help a young heroine grow in all good things, to love life in its fullness and beauty, but also make her strong in resisting the forces of evil stepmothers or wicked fairies already gathered around her cradle.

I'm reading one small chapter aloud to the kids each morning after breakfast. It has been such a blessing to us so far to hear of specific missionaries of the past. I now have several missionary biographies I'd like to read!

Is it bad if I read ahead?

Easy reading and the story is great fun. M and I read the first story during sister's naptime.
