i hate that i am just so busy that i don't even have the energy to read this because i feel like i'm not hooked in. but its not because it's not good its because i am just reading it often enough it's so frustrating.

definitely written better then the first book, although my copy is missing pages? not sure how since i’m reading it on my kindle, but it skips from page 26 to 29.

THE PLOT TWIST????

i cannot stop reading!!!! i love the alternating time points, but sometimes we get a cliffhanger in one but then get transported to the other (i hate waiting) so i get a little annoyed, but i mean what’s a story without some drama?????

omg the planetarium scene???? 🥹🥹 oh my god???? no way that scene was written by a man sorry not sorry

so far i am liking the switching back and forth between two time periods, its interesting to get background and current events at the same time. not too “into” the story yet, but some of it is going over my head (i am NOT a physicist so im having to look up definitions more than usual).

i love how the drawings are included, even though they are so important to the story. but it leaves nothing to the imagination so i know exactly what i am supposed to be imagining as i read the book. genuinely? they are low key scary and i be getting chills fr

omg it’s finally getting really good. the slow start wasn’t terrible, but it’s definitely getting better as i progress
