I felt pressured to start this by the high ratings, but wasn't truthfully looking forward it. However, I've been pleasantly surprised.
There's no self-important sense of enlightenment into a secret that others are too dumb to get. It's just an honest discussion about our mortality through the lens of someone who's taken the time to do research and follow patients. It reads more like a conversation with the reader.
