I’m getting a bit confused again.

Last part was confusing, but enjoying it more now.

First few pages were confusing with all the technical stuff, but I’m slowly beginning to understand.

That was a rather confusing chapter. I get it’s showing Betsy’s mental state, but it was very hard to follow at times.

Okay I’m a bit confused atm, but I still think Betsy is an interesting character.

I kind of wish they didn’t tell you what Elizabeth’s diagnosis is on the back cover. It would make this build up more eerie.

Finally back to reading.

It actually annoys me because if they had a better director and gotten Betty from the start this show would have been a runaway success. Betty & Linzi would have won the Tonys, if it transferred to London the Oliviers. They had something, but it was just in the wrong hands.

So the woodsman just drops the word “Vampire” and no one questions it? No one says “What’s a vampire?” They just know what it is?

Interesting that in 1871 a story with a stated lesbian romance was published.

Also it’s annoying when instead of saying Carmilla’s name they’ll say “The lady” because I’m like “Which lady? We’ve got 4 in the story atm.”

Who just leaves their ill daughter with a bunch of random people?
